How To Style – Tata Tape

How to use Tata Tape®

Choose your colour

Our boob tape is available in 5 shades which match most skin tones.

Cut to size

Measure the tape against your skin and cut to size. Remember that our boob tape stretches, so cut about 3/4 of the length you need.

Stick on the nipple cover

Nipple covers are recommended to be worn under your Tata Tape, to protect sensitive nips.

Lift and stick

Lift your bust to the desired height and stick the tape into place. Do not to overstretch the tape.

Apply to Clean & Dry Skin

Apply nipple covers and tape to clean dry skin that is free from oils and moisturisers. Do NOT apply tape to sunburnt, irritated or sensitive skin.

Patch test on skin

We recommend always doing a patch test before long term wear. Apply roughly a 1cm piece to your skin for 4 hours then remove by peeling slowly. If irritation or redness occurs immediately discontinue use.

Round the corners of each piece

To enable the edges of your tape to firmly apply to the skin we recommend rounding the edges of the tape. This enables the tape to fix to the skin without the tape edges rolling up. Like when applying the tape, remember to not over stretch the edges of the tape.

Protect with Nipple Covers

For sensitive nipples, we recommend wearing Tata Tape Satin or Silicone Nipple Covers under your Boob Tape.

Do not over stretch the tape

Our wave technology tape has the ability to stretch up to 170% meaning you should only slightly stretch the tape. For the perfect application of your tape we recommend placing your breast in the correct position by using your hand and then applying the tape to the breast and taping for desired look.

Do NOT wear for more than 6 hours

Prolonged use of tape past the recommended time can cause irritation and discomfort when wearing and when removing the tape. We only recommend wearing the tape for a maximum of 6 hours as the tape adhesive can become stickier causing irritation.

Removal of your Tata Tape

Peel slowly DO NOT rip it like a bain-aid. It's best to peel the tape off slowly and gently. Start by peeling the tape off in the direction opposite to your hair and using your other hand to support the skin behind the tape. Ripping your Tata Tape off like a Band-Aid is a BIG NO as it can cause irritation to the skin when being removed. For sensitive skin, we recommend that you rub coconut oil or moisturiser to help to gently remove the tape.
